Success is Near When Failure Abounds

Thrive for Success

Many of us aspire to meet success.  Whether it be in business, relationships or careers, success is our ultimate goal.  But then again most of us also fear to experience failure.  What we fail to realize is even the most successful people had to go through multiple failures to get to where they are.

I was watching The Pursuit of Happyness last night for the nth time.  I love this movie and I always watch it every time I need some motivation to lift my spirit up.  As we all know, this movie was based on the life of Chris Gardner who went through homelessness and poverty while trying to raise his 5 year-old kid.  He eventually got accepted into the brokerage firm he worked as an intern for and later built a similar firm of his own.

In the movie, Chris met one failure after another from not being able to sell his bone density scanners, his wife leaving them, his money being taken by the government for tax evasion, getting jailed for unpaid parking tickets and having to sleep in public places with his son because they were evicted.  That was tough.  Such ordeal would have broken even the toughest of people and that’s what makes him admirable.  For him to endure what they went through is just remarkable and outstanding.  But how did he do it?  What kept him pushing forward?

The simple answer is his DREAM.  Just like what he said, Don’t ever let someone tell you, you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period.

Sometimes, we have to experience failure for us to discover our potential.  It brings out the best in us.  Our competitive spirits.  Most people are usually at their best with their backs against the wall.  No amount of failure would stop them from achieving their goal.  This is the kind of attitude we all need to have.  The attitude of a CHAMPION.

My wife’s family had a neighbor back in their town who used to sell coconuts for a living.  He used to live in a small shanty with his family a few houses away from my in-laws’ house.  He also sells home-made rice cakes which he sold on foot in the middle of the day.  Everyday, he walked two-and-a-half miles under the scorching heat to sell his products.  He now owns a gasoline station, several properties, vehicles, and a couple of businesses.

Success is not achieved overnight.  If you want to be successful, you must persevere and work hard to get to where you want to be.  Failure will come along to test your character and faith.  Don’t let it stop you from realizing your dreams.  To quote Chris Gardner, “You want something, go get it.”

The heart of a champion is not easily defeated.

Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you?
